This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The left side has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a subscription.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a subscription.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
hey man thnx alot!! tat relli helped . just one last question. how to create a side bar using geek tool? though i want the bar to be at the bottom of the screen
When u add something in geektool u can select the color & opacity background or the in the "Colors and Font tab" To make a "sidebar's effect" select color black and 50-70% opacity in BKgd button. Also you can add a border line with the same way adding other entry in geektool, or making in photoshop and later adding like picture in geektool.
If you want to use the bar at the bottom, select the same size (or more) of your widescreen and set the position manually with the mouse, and the las step, accurate by numbers in cordenates (x,y)

You only have to add a new entry, select type picture and in the URL box point the route of ur file (can be a http url or local file)
If your choice is local file the format is like this file:///Users/(ur name user in Mac HDD)/(folder)/file_name.jpg
next be sure to check a high refresh like 999s to avoid CPU over working
the last step is to point the location (x,y) and dimensions (w,h) u want.
In the style tab you can set the opacity level.
Good luck and ask me if u have any problem
(sorry my bad english)
